The Spirit Stories Campaign is a call from God to live your life reliant on His Spirit. We listen, obey, and He does the work. We believe there are stories waiting to happen out of our obedience to his voice, and our hope is to make our community look more like heaven.

“Have you ever wondered if the Holy Spirit has worked through you? Has there been any fruit from your labor?
Well, I will admit that I have. To my delight, I’ve learned the answer is yes. One day, a woman who knew me four plus decades ago approached me at an event. She recounted a story of me singing a song many years ago at church. The message of the song touched her heart, and she gave her life to the Lord that day. She has lived for him ever since.
I pray you will know someday that the Holy Spirit has indeed worked through you as well. Until then, labor on; it is worth the effort. ”
“I started physical therapy in March and formed a connection with my physical therapist. Every session we’d talk about our lives and all things babies as she was expecting in June.
Before my last session with her, we exchanged contact info and I told her I’d love to be her mom friend if she needed one.
Months later, after she had her baby, she reached out to me! We’ve gone on two walks so far, and she is curious about Jesus!
I really think God is up to something with her and her family! Pray that her curiosity about Christ grows and that she welcomes God into her life. I am so excited to see what He’s going to do! ”
“Colleen was in the dining hall one day and decided to sit next to a man. She began asking him questions about himself and shared Jesus with him.
He not only gave His life to Christ, but he now leads a Bible study with her!
God is after all of our hearts. Even those who are in their 80s!”
“During the exercise, Pastor Juwan asked the congregation to do last Sunday (9/12). Shea prayed to God to see if there was someone he could serve this week. No one came to mind and Shea became a little worried; confused as to why God didn’t reveal anyone to him.
The next day, he stopped by the gas station and noticed a man picking bottles out of the trash cans. He asked the man if he was homeless and he said no. The man shared that he had lost his job and was collecting the bottles for extra money.
Shea offered to buy the man some food and he denied, but said he’d like something to drink. After Shea bought the drink, he prayed for the man and knew that he was the person God was calling him to serve that week! ”
